Quality Assurance Inspectors are responsible for performing receiving, in-process and final inspections of purchased and fabricated items.

Must have experience working within ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standards

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform inspections of purchased and fabricated metal parts/assemblies using proper tools
• Perform non destructive visual and dye penetrant inspections of weldments
• Perform receiving, in process and final radiation surveys.
• Prepare inspection reports both manually and digitally
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and receives proper approval
• Communicate with Regulatory/Co-Quality Manager regarding questions, concerns or issues
• Communicate with other departments regarding product malfunctions/fabrication errors

Qualifications: Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 yrs experience within a highly regulated industry
• Experience in ISO environment

Knowledge:

• Basic computer skills with emphasis on Office products
• Previous experience in manufacturing software required
• Must have exceptional Organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail is necessary as well as ability to follow work instructions
• Ability to take initiative to ensure work is completed efficiently and receives proper approval.
• Self‐motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Desire for continuous personal and professional development, training and skill building.
